Obverse
The obverse side of the 2021 Gold Aurum Ireland Kingdom of Breifne Note features a bird from a larger flock in the immediate foreground as it flies above a field of clover. At the top of the design element is a map of some of the territories of Gaelic Ireland in the Middle Ages, including a rough map of the borders for the Kingdom of Breifne. The bottom of the design field includes a Gaelic-themed stripe. The iQuint denomination of 5 is noted twice on this side in numeric form, with Five Gold iQuint beneath the bird. There are also inscriptions of 1/200th oz Fine Gold and Breifne Irelands Ancient Middle Kingdom on this face.
Reverse
On the reverse field of 2021 1/200 oz Gold Kingdom of Breifne Notes, the design from the obverse effortlessly flows over. The same flock of birds flies through the background as a rainbow emerges from the right side of the design element. This rainbow ends, fittingly, in a pot of gold that rests among the clovers.
